Encuentro correspondiente a la vigésima jornada de LaLiga Santander, disputado en el estadio Santiago Bernabéu ante la presencia de 63.504 espectadores.

Zinedine Zidane's side were without a league win since December and looked set to struggle again when Depor silenced the Bernabeu through Adrian Lopez in the 23rd minute.

But Nacho Fernandez drew Madrid level 10 minutes later and Gareth Bale edged them in front before halftime.

Bale's second of the afternoon after the break extended Madrid's lead before things got out of hand.

Luka Modric scored the fourth before Ronaldo added two of his own, taking a boot in the face as well, which left him with blood pouring from his face.

Defender Nacho, who had scored Madrid's first, then scored their last, too, to complete the rout in the 88th minute.

The three points moved Zidane's side back into the top four, replacing Villarreal, who had gone ahead of them on Saturday.

Madrid have 35 points, with Villarreal (34) and Sevilla (32) just behind them.

It completes a good weekend for Los Blancos having seen third-place Valencia (40 points) and second place Atletico (43) lose and draw respectively.
