Neither Elche nor Valladolid able to break the dead-lock, the game ends in a 1-1 draw

On Wednesday, Elche and Valladolid were held to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Martínez Valero. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Elche were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 2-0 to Osasuna. Valladolid, on the other hand, lost 2-1 in the last match they played against Granada. As the table looks today, Elche and Valladolid currently occupy 19th and 16th spots in the table, with 27 points and 28 points respectively after 31 matches.

Elche started the first half well, thanks to Fidel finding the net at the 22 minute mark. The score at half time was 1-0.

Valladolid took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Lucas Olaza just before the final whistle. The final result, Elche 1, Valladolid 1.
