Real went pass Eibar on a hard-earned victory of 4-1 on Saturday at Reale Arena. The two teams arrived at this match after suffering a defeat in their previous league game. Real Sociedad wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing against Real Madrid 3-1 while Eibar fell defeated by 0-2 in the last match they played against Alavés. Following today's result, Real Sociedad is 4th in the LaLiga table with 26 points from 15 matches, while Eibar sits 16th with 15 points after 15 matches.
Good start of the game for Real Sociedad, with a goal from Robin Le Normand in the 25th minute. However, Eibar gave an equalizer 1-1 thanks to a goal from Pape Diop in the 35th minute. However, Real Sociedad just before the end of the 45 minutes got the go-ahead goal thanks to a goal from Mikel Oyarzabal in the 47th minute, which saw the first half to a 2-1.
Real Sociedad boosted the game in the second half, thanks to a goal from Willian Jose in the 57th minute. Later, Real Sociedad scored again and increased their advantage 4-1 thanks to a goal from Martin Odegaard in the 80th minute, finalising the game with a 4-1.
At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Real, Robin Le Normand, Alexander Isak and Ander Barrenetxea came on for Aritz Elustondo, Willian Jose and Mikel Oyarzabal, while Eibar brought on Quique, Kike and Edu Exposito to replace Pedro Leon, Takashi Inui and Pape Diop.
The referee booked Joseba Zaldua from Real, while for Eibar Ivan Ramis, Pape Diop, Paulo Oliveira and Gonzalo Escalante saw a yellow card as well.
