Atletico Madrid continue to deny that Lucas Hernandez will leave for Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
A report in Marca claimed that the German club would pay the defender's 80 million euro release clause next month.
However, the club moved to quickly play down the claims, while president Enrique Cerezo also said it wouldn't be happening.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has now added his name to the list in an interview with Sport1, reaffirming that Lucas will remain in Madrid.
"I can't say anything, you will have to ask Rummenigge [about Bayern's interest]," he said. "Lucas told me he wants to stay with Atletico. Lucas is a very good player. He's an important player."
