Levante 2-0 Leganes: Rochina and Roger on target in routine win
Levante staggered past Leganés in a 2-0 victory on Saturday at Ciudad de Valencia. Levante arrived with the intention of regaining victory after losing against Barcelona 2-1 while Leganés came from winning 2-1 against Real Sociedad in the last match played. As of today, Levante and Leganés occupy position 11th (29 points) and 18th (18 points) respectively after playing a total of 23 matches.
Levante started well in the first half, thanks to a goal from Ruben Rochina 20 minutes in the game. Later, Levante scored again and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Roger Marti 28 minutes in the game, thereby seeing the first half to a 2-0.
The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Levante Jose Luis Morales, Oscar Duarte and Pablo Martinez came on for Roger Marti, Ruben Rochina and Borja Mayoral, while Leganés brought on Aitor Ruibal, Roger Assale and Dimitrios Siovas to replace Roberto Rosales, Miguel Angel Guerrero and Kenneth Omeruo.
The referee booked Nikola Vukcevic and Borja Mayoral from Levante, while for Leganés Kenneth Omeruo, Unai Bustinza and Kevin Rodrigues saw a yellow card as well.
Levante will play against Villarreal at away stadium, while Leganés will face Real Betis at home stadium.
