Leganés suffers defeat against Celta with a 1-0 at Municipal de Balaidos

Celta enjoyed a mesmerizing home victory against Leganés at Municipal de Balaidos on Saturday. Celta and Leganés arrived at this challenge after drawing their last game. Celta arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid while Leganés had to settle for a draw in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Celta is 17th in the LaLiga, having garnered 24 points from 25 matches, while Leganés sits at 19th with 19 points after playing a total of 25 matches.

There were no goals during the first 45 minutes and the first part ended 0-0.

Celta took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Iago Aspas in the 62nd minute, which saw the second half to a 1-0.

As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Celta Fran Beltran, Joseph Aidoo and Santi Mina came on for Fedor Smolov, Denis Suarez and Iago Aspas, while Leganés brought on Oscar, Roger Assale and Bryan Salvatierra to replace Javi Eraso, Jonathan Silva and Unai Bustinza.

The referee booked six players. Denis Suarez and Jeison Murillo from Celta saw the yellow card and Filip Bradaric saw the red card, while for Leganés Jonathan Silva, Dimitrios Siovas and Oscar saw a yellow card as well.

Celta will play against Granada at away stadium, while Leganés will face Alavés at home stadium.
