The players will be entitled to 21 days holidays once the current season finishes

SPORT revealed earlier on Tuesday that LaLiga have told clubs they plan to restart the top two Spanish divisions in June -- and if they can't, they could cancel the season. June 21 or June 27 are possible start dates. At the very latest they could start at the beginning of July, sources have suggested.

It all works in function with the 2020/21 season. Talks are already ongoing to play through Christmas this season. That is more likely to happen now due to the coronavirus stoppage this season. SPORT have learned that the plan is for next season to start in the middle of September, around a month after its original start date.

Once the current season finishes -- it is now hoped to conclude in or before August -- the players will have 21 days of holiday by law, taking us up to the end of August.

They would then need a few weeks for a mini pre-season, in terms to what they would usually do. These are the plans being put in place but it is pending a meeting between La Liga and the Players' Association (AFE) in the coming days.
