Kahn: I've seen Ronaldo's abs more than my wife's breasts recently
Oliver Kahn has been disappointed with Cristiano Ronaldo’s performances and he has not held back from criticising the Real Madrid star, in both an ironic way and a tough way.
The former German goalkeeper joked that “recently, I have seen Ronaldo’s abs more than I've seen my wife’s breasts,” in reference to the photograph uploaded to social media by Madrid’s players after their win against Barcelona. The Portuguese international was wearing just a pair of white pants.
But, jokes aside, Kahn didn’t hide his disappointment when it came to talking about Ronaldo and Madrid’s performance against Wolfsburg. “It seemed almost as if they were offended they had to play here in Wolfsburg.” And, on a tactical level, the now television commentator added that “neither Cristiano nor Bale look comfortable with the defensive work and that always leaves space for the rival full-backs.”
In general, Cristiano and Real Madrid’s performance in Germany came in for a lot of criticism from the German press, although they are aware the game is still not decided, even if the Bundesliga side do have a 2-0 league from the first leg.
