The coach will meet with Murthy before making a final decision

Javi Gracia could quit as Valencia coach before the week is out. According to Marca, he will meet with president Anil Murthy soon before making a final decision.

The transfer window closed without Valencia making a single signing, leaving Gracia disappointed with the club, who failed to deliver on any of his requests.

Gracia has only been in charge for two months but it's enough to see the institutional mess at the Mestalla and make him consider his future.

He accepted that there would be some big departures but expected the club would at least replace some of them. Instead, he's seen the likes of Ferran Torres, Dani Parejo and Rodrigo leave without anyone arriving.

Once he meets with Murthy to talk about owner Peter Lim's plans, he will make his decision. But the sensation at the moment is that he could walk away from the role already.
