Jan Oblak's message to Atletico Madrid fans
The Slovenian goalkeeper spoke after their UCL elimination
Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak wanted to send a message to his club's fans at the end of their season.
The Slovenian stopper lamented that Atletico were unable to win any titles but also wanted supporters not to forget exciting moments like the Champions League win over Liverpool.
"Thanks for the support in an intense and complicated season, wrote Oblak. "We worked to get our Champions League qualification again and enjoy games like at Anfield, although in the end we could not complete our ambitions and bring some joy."
He did not hide that it has been a bad season for the fans and players, adding "now it's time to rest and reflect. A hug for everyone."
