Jan Oblak leaves the Slovenian national team to 'recover'
The Atletico Madrid goalkeeper may have a bad relationship with coach Bojan Kavcic
Just like Lionel Messi with Argentina, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has decided to leave the Slovenian national team on a temporary basis. The goalkeeper asked the national team to leave him out for six months so he can recover from various injury problems.
The Slovenian football federation published a note to explain this, saying that the keeper had a meeting in Madrid with the president of the entity, Radenko Mijatovic, in which he explained he wanted to stop playing for a bit.
There have been reports in Slovenia that the real reason Oblak does not want to play is because of problems with the coach Bojan Kavcic.
