Haaland's dad: La Liga is a good league for him
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked to the Borussia Dortmund striker
Alf-Inge Haaland, the father of Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, spoke to AS about his son, saying La Liga would be good for him to play in.
"We are linked with one hundred clubs, but it's true that the Spanish league is a really good one for my son, with great teams. You never know if he will go to Spain. Whatever is meant to be will happen," said Alf-Inge.
Haaland joined Dortmund for just 20 million euros in the winter window but could be moving on soon with elite clubs desperate to bring in the striker.
Real Madrid may have an advantage because Haaland likes playing with Martin Odegaard, their Norwegian playmaker, who is on loan at Real Sociedad.
"My son loves playing with Martin, he is a great footballer. They understand each other really well on the field," added Erling’s father.
