Levante on away loss to Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday. Getafe were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 1-0 to Celta Vigo. Levante, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As it stands, Getafe are in 16th place on the table and has 37 points while Levante sit in 14th with 40 points after 37 matches.

Getafe started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to Carles Alena finding the net, on 13 minutes. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Gonzalo Melero equalised for The Frogs, 30 minutes in and seeing the first half out 1-1.

Deep Blues continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Takefusa Kubo finding the net, 84 minutes in, leaving the final score at 2-1.

The referee booked Mauro Arambarri, Juan Antonio Iglesias Sanchez, Takefusa Kubo and David Soria and David Timor saw the red card, for Getafe.

Getafe will next play Granada away, with Levante facing Cádiz at home.
