Betis on Sunday lost to Getafe on an away defeat at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. The two teams arrived at this challenge having taken good results. Getafe wanted to continue adding points after winning away by a 0-3 victory against Leganés while Real Betis won 3-0 the last league match against Real Sociedad. At the moment, Getafe is 4th in the LaLiga table with 36 points from 21 matches, while Real Betis sits 12th with 27 points after 21 matches.

Getafe took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Angel Rodriguez just before the end of the second half, which saw the second half to a 1-0.
