Getafe earned hard-fought win over Real Betis 1-0 at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez

Betis on Sunday lost to Getafe on an away defeat at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. The two teams arrived at this challenge having taken good results. Getafe wanted to continue adding points after winning away by a 0-3 victory against Leganés while Real Betis won 3-0 the last league match against Real Sociedad. At the moment, Getafe is 4th in the LaLiga table with 36 points from 21 matches, while Real Betis sits 12th with 27 points after 21 matches.

There were no goals during the first 45 minutes and the first part ended 0-0.

Getafe took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Angel Rodriguez just before the end of the second half, which saw the second half to a 1-0.

At the end of the match, both teams made 3 substitutions each. For Getafe, Deyverson, Angel Rodriguez and Oghenekaro Etebo came on for Jorge Molina, Jaime Mata and Allan Nyom, while Betis brought on Carles Alena, Cristian Tello and Borja Iglesias to replace Andres Guardado, Nabil Fekir and Loren Moron.

The referee booked Nemanja Maksimovic and Xabier Etxeita from Getafe, while for Real Betis Sergio Canales, Marc Bartra, Joel Robles and Aissa Mandi saw a yellow card and Zouhair Feddal saw the red card.
