Getafe went pass Mallorca on a hard-earned victory of 4-2 on Sunday at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. Getafe and Mallorca arrived at this challenge after drawing their last game. Getafe faced the encounter with a desire to add more points to their locker after a draw against Real Betis (1-1) while Mallorca scored a 0 draw against Athletic, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. At the moment, Getafe and Mallorca occupy position 11th (6 points) and 17th (4 points) respectively after playing a total of 5 matches.
The first half started in favour of Getafe, thanks to a goal from Iddrisu Baba in the 7th minute. Later, Getafe scored once more and increased their lead 2-0 thanks to a goal from Jorge Molina 33 minutes in the game, and the first half ended 2-0.
Getafe boosted the game in the second half, with a goal from Allan Nyom 63 minutes in the game. Mallorca hit back thanks to a goal from Ante Budimir 70 minutes in the game to establish the 3-1. Later, Mallorca scored again and pull-back 3-2 thanks to a new goal from Ante Budimir, scoring his second goal in the 77th minute. However, Getafe in the 84th minute increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Ángel Rodríguez, and the game ended 4-2.
As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Getafe, Ángel Rodríguez, Francisco Portillo and Kennedy came on for Jaime Mata, David and Marc Cucurella, while Mallorca substituted Takefusa Kubo, Lumor and Álex Alegría with Salva Sevilla, Rahman Baba and Dani Rodríguez.
The referee booked Jaime Mata, Leandro Cabrera, Damián Suárez and David from Getafe, while for Mallorca Joan Sastre, Fabricio, Aleix Febas, Lumor and Iddrisu Baba saw a yellow card as well.
Getafe will be playing against Valencia at away stadium, while Mallorca will face Atlético de Madrid at home stadium.
