Valladolid defeat Espanyol 2-1 on Sunday at José ZorrillaReal Valladolid wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing against Granada 2-1 while Espanyol scored a 2 draw against Sevilla, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. However, Espanyol just before the end of the second half hit back thanks to a penalty goal from Adri Embarba in the 90th minute, which saw the second half to a 2-1.

 As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions.
