Elche earned hard-fought win over Valencia 2-1 at Estadio Martínez Valero

Valencia on Friday lost to Elche on an away defeat at Estadio Martínez Valero. Elche arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after winning away by a 0-2 victory against Alavés while Valencia fell defeated by 2-1 in the last match they played against Villarreal. As of today, Elche is 5th in the LaLiga, having garnered 10 points from 7 matches, while Valencia sits at 13th with 7 points after playing a total of 7 matches.

Good start of the game for Elche, thanks to a goal from Josan 19 minutes in the game. Later, Elche scored once more and increased their lead 2-0 thanks to a goal from Fidel 37 minutes in the game, and the first half ended 2-0.
