Eibar fall to Cádiz with a 0-2 at Ipurua Municipal Stadium

Cádiz defeat Eibar 0-2 on Friday at Ipurua Municipal Stadium. Eibar wanted to continue adding points after winning away by a 0-1 victory against Sevilla while Cádiz scored a 0 draw against Villarreal, adding a point in the last match played of the competition. As of today, Eibar is 11th in the LaLiga, with 8 points from 8 matches, while Cádiz sits at 2nd with 14 points after playing a total of 8 matches.

Cádiz started well in the first half, thanks to a goal from Alvaro Negredo 36 minutes in the game. Later, Cádiz scored again and increased their advantage 0-2 thanks to a goal from Salvi Sanchez in the 39th minute, which saw the first half to a 0-2.

No goal was recorded during the second half but the game ended on a 0-2 victory.

For Eibar, Sergi Enrich, Edu Exposito, Damian Kadzior, Yoshinori Muto and Rafa Soares came on for Salvi Sanchez, Anthony Lozano, Jens Jonsson, Alvaro Negredo and Jose Mari, while Cádiz brought on Ivan Alejo, Filip Malbasic, Augusto Fernandez, Yann Bodiger and Garrido to replace Salvi Sanchez, Anthony Lozano, Jens Jonsson, Alvaro Negredo and Jose Mari.

The referee booked Esteban Burgos from Eibar, while for Cádiz Anthony Lozano saw a yellow card as well.

Cádiz and Eibar will play at away stadium against Atlético Madrid and Huesca respectively.
