Depleted Leganés stunned by Getafe with a 0-3 at Estadio Municipal de Butarque

Leganés on Friday lost to Getafe on a home defeat at Estadio Municipal de Butarque. Leganés arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a 2-2 draw against Real Valladolid while Getafe fell defeated by 0-3 in the last match they played against Real Madrid. As of today, Leganés and Getafe occupy position 19th (14 points) and 5th (33 points) respectively after playing a total of 20 matches.

The first 45 minutes was in favour of Getafe, with a goal from Leandro Cabrera in the 12th minute. Later, Getafe scored again and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Allan Nyom with the score 0-2. Later, Getafe scored again and increased their advantage 0-3 thanks to a goal from Jaime Mata in the 33rd minute, which saw the first half to a 0-3.

There were no goals during the second half but the match ended on a 0-3 win.

As for substitutions, both coaches used full substitutions. For Leganés Recio, Jose Manuel Arnaiz and Aitor Ruibal came on for Rodrigo Tarin, Roque Mesa and Oscar, while Getafe brought on Oghenekaro Etebo, Hugo Duro and Faycal Fajr to replace Allan Nyom, Jorge Molina and Marc Cucurella.

The referee booked Unai Bustinza, Martin Braithwaite, Jose Manuel Arnaiz, Recio, Jonathan Silva and Ruben Perez from Leganés, while for Getafe Allan Nyom, Nemanja Maksimovic, Jaime Mata and Suarez Damian saw a yellow card as well.

Leganés with their next fixture against Atlético de Madrid at away stadium, while Getafe will face Real Betis at home stadium.
