Cádiz take all 3 points, after 1-0 victory against Eibar
Jose Luis Mendilibar's squad were defeated away by Cádiz at Estadio Ramon de Carranza on Saturday
Cádiz's 1-0 win over Eibar on Saturday, was hard fought at Estadio Ramon de Carranza. Cádiz were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 1-0 to Real Betis. Eibar secured a point against Huesca in their previous match. At the moment, Cádiz are in 14th place, with 28 points from 26 matches, while Eibar sit in 18th, with 22 points from 26.
It was an impressive opening from Cádiz, beginning with Alvaro Negredo opening the scoring just before half-time The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
For Cádiz Alberto Perea, Anthony Lozano, Garrido, Fali and Jairo Izquierdo came on for Salvi Sanchez, Alvaro Negredo, Jens Jonsson, Jose Mari and Ruben Sobrino, while Eibar brought on Aleix Garcia, Kevin Rodrigues, Yoshinori Muto and Recio to replace Edu Exposito, Pedro Leon, Kike and Pape Diop.
There were bookings for Jose Mari and Jairo Izquierdo from Cádiz and Sergi Enrich and Jose Angel for Eibar.
Cádiz will play away against Alaves, while Eibar will face Villarreal at home.
