Atletico Madrid secure all 3 points in their final fixture of the season against Real Valladolid

Atletico Madrid secures a 2-1 victory against Real Valladolid at José Zorrilla on Saturday. Valladolid were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 4-1 to Real Sociedad. Atleti were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Osasuna and Real Sociedad. Valladolid started the first half well, thanks to a goal from Oscar Plano, on 18 minutes to take them into the break 1-0 up.

Atleti continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Angel Correa in the 57th minute. Los Colchoneros then netted once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Luis Suarez in the 67th minute with a final score of 2-1.
