Atletico and Chelsea agree permanent deal for striker Morata
Morata will remain on loan before joining next summer on a full time basis
Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for Alvaro Morata to join the Spanish club on a permanent basis.
Morata joined Atletico on loan in January and will remain on loan until next summer, with the Rojiblanco obliged to make the deal full time in 2020.
"The striker will play at our club on loan this season and the move will become permanent ahead of the 2020-2021 season," Atletico confirmed on Saturday.
Former Real Madrid man Morata, 26, made his Atletico debut on Feb. 3 against Real Betis and has made 17 appearances for the club in total, scoring six goals.
