Athletic cruise to a 2-0 win over Levante at San Mames

Athletic defeat Levante 2-0 on Sunday at San Mames. Athletic Bilbao and Levante arrived at this match after suffering a defeat in their previous league game. Athletic Bilbao wanted to improve their position in the tournament after losing 1-0 against Alavés while Levante lost by a result of 0-2 in the previous match against Real Madrid. Athletic Bilbao took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Alex Berenguer 68 minutes in the game. Later, Athletic Bilbao scored again and increased their advantage 2-0 thanks to a goal from Inaki Williams 79 minutes in the game, finalising the game with a 2-0.

The referee booked Yeray Alvarez, Ander Capa and Unai Lopez from Athletic, while for Levante Ruben Vezo saw a yellow card as well.

Athletic Bilbao will play against Osasuna at away stadium, while Levante will face Celta at home stadium.
