Alavés and Leganés draw 1-1 on Friday at Estadio de Mendizorroza. Alavés faced the match with a desire to make up their league after losing against Granada 3-0 while Leganés won 3-2 the last league match against Celta. Following today's result, Alavés and Leganés occupy position 15th (19 points) and 19th (10 points) respectively after playing a total of 17 matches.

Excellent start from Leganés, thanks to a goal from Martin Braithwaite just before the end of the 45 minutes, finalising the first half with a 0-1.

Alavés will play against Barcelona at away stadium, while Leganés will face Espanyol at home stadium.
