The La Liga chief says Copa del Rey games will be on then so there will be no Clasico
La Liga president Javier Tebas said in an interview with Efe, that the Clasico cannot take place on December 18 because there is Copa del Rey that week.
"They are things that leak, they say they say these things in the RFEF, I don't think the RFEF said any daye, because they woul have to put it on the table before the competition committee," said Tebas.
"Now us, La Liga, are starting a process of altering the calendar. They talk about the 18th when there is Copa del Rey that day. If they think the Copa del Rey is a desert, if they put the Clasico on too, it will be a super desert. It can't be that day. We have to sit down and establish the date, if the games aren't swapped (Oct 26 Clasico played at the Bernabeu)."
