Cristiano Ronaldo could move to Saudi Arabia after huge Al Nassr offer

Cristiano Ronaldo is very close to continuing his football career in Saudi Arabia, according to various reports.

A dizzying financial offer made by Al Nassr could have convinced the Portuguese forward to make the move after terminating his contract with Manchester United.

Marca claim the offer includes a two-and-a-half-year deal earning as much as at a rate of €200 million per season.

The Saudi side, coached by Rudi García and which has players of the stature of David Ospina and Álvaro González in its squad, aspire to regain dominance in their domestic league, lost last year to Al-Hilal, a team that already tempted Ronaldo last summer.

Ronaldo, a free agent since he parted ways with Man United on November 22, already tried to leave the English side in the previous transfer window in search of a team with which to play in the Champions League.

After a difficult start to the season, marked more by off-pitch issues than by what was happening on it, it seems that the forward's aspirations have changed in just a few months.

With the incorporation of Ronaldo, Saudi Arabia would carry out a dramatic coup by incorporating one of the best players of recent years -- quite a claim for a league that is trying to gain a foothold on the international scene.
