Simeone's side will clinch the title if they win and Madrid drop points

Atletico Madrid could win the league on Sunday if results go their way. If Diego Simeone's side beat Osasuna and Real Madrid fail to win against Athletic at San Mames, they will be champions. The penultimate matchday of the La Liga season sees all games kick off at 18.30 CET.

The Rojiblanco are playing against an Osasuna side who have nothing to play for other than prestige, although Athletic are also in the same position against Madrid.

If Madrid win or if Atletico fail to win, the title will be decided in the final weekend when Atletico face Real Valladolid, who are likely to still be fighting to stay up, and Madrid host Villarreal.

For Madrid to win the title, they need to win both their games and hope Atletico draw just one game because if the two sides finish level, Zidane's men have the head-to-head advantage.

As for Barça, Koeman's side will only have a mathematical chance going into the final week of the season if they beat Celta Vigo at Camp Nou and Atletico fail to beat Osasuna.

If Simeone's side beat Osasuna, the league is over for the Blaugrana when just two weeks ago they could have gone top with a win against Granada. To win the league, Barça need to win both of their games and hope Madrid lose one and Atletico lost one and draw one.

Atletico have previously won the league 10 times, in: 1939-1940, 1940-1941, 1949-1950, 1950-1951, 1965-1966, 1969-1970, 1972-1973, 1976-1977, 1995-1996 and 2013-2014.
