The La Liga side are interested in the out of contract Chelsea player

Pedro Rodríguez will be one of the most coveted players in Europe this summer as his contract with Chelsea comes to an end.

The former Barcelona forward's deal at Stamford Bridge is up at the end of June and, according to Estadio Deportivo, Real Betis are among the clubs keen on him.

Seville-based Betis are aware it will be difficult to convince a player who still has a good reputation across the continent but want to try and take advantage of a situation which would require no transfer fee.

Pedro has also been linked with Roma and Lazio, as well as a number of English and German clubs, while Sevilla were also rumoured to be interested in January (Chelsea wouldn't sell).

Betis will try to sell their project to Pedro. The team managed by Rubi want to keep on growing after adding names like Canales, Bartra and Fekir in recent transfer windows.

They have also sounded out David Silva, who has announced he will leave Manchester City when his contract expires on June 30. Could they link Spain greats Pedro and Silva with Joaquin?
