Napoli reopen the idea of renewing Koulibaly amid Barça interest
The Senegalese defender has been a key player over the years for Napoli
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is a target. However Barcelona’s financial difficulties mean that a potential deal could be hard. The Senegalese defender is prepared to wait without creating any conflict with Napoli.
His agent Fali Ramadani has told Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis, that his intention is to leave and not renew his deal, which expires in a year.
However per Corriere dello Sport, the Italians could declare Koulibaly untransferable, and offer him 40m euros across the next five years to try and tempt him to stay.
