The word friendly does not exist for Lionel Messi. He put on a clinic in Pamplona on Sunday, scoring five times as Argentina beat Estonia 5-0.
The first goal arrived from the penalty spot in the ninth minute. It was just a warning for what was to come, given that before the break he collected a good pass from Papu Gomez, coming on from the right to finish in the top left corner.
The hat-trick
In the second half, rather than relaxing, he only needed two minutes to complete his hat-trick and score Argentina's third of the night at El Sadar.
