Lionel Messi scores FIVE as Argentina hammer Estonia in Pamplona

The former Barcelona forward was on fire back in Spain on Sunday night

The word friendly does not exist for Lionel Messi. He put on a clinic in Pamplona on Sunday, scoring five times as Argentina beat Estonia 5-0.

The first goal arrived from the penalty spot in the ninth minute. It was just a warning for what was to come, given that before the break he collected a good pass from Papu Gomez, coming on from the right to finish in the top left corner.

The hat-trick

In the second half, rather than relaxing, he only needed two minutes to complete his hat-trick and score Argentina's third of the night at El Sadar.

Arriving in the box at the perfect time, he turned home a cross from Nahuel Molina from the right wing with great elegance.

The poker

The fourth followed late in the second half. He cut back well inside the box, taking the defender and goalkeeper out of the game before slotting into the empty net to complete his poker (four-goal haul).

The fifth

There was still time for one more, a tidy finish inside the area to make it five for him and five for Argentina as the Albiceleste's unbeaten run continued.
