Lionel Messi: Neymar was one of the reasons I signed for PSG
The Argentine star has many friends in the dressing room in Paris including the Brazilian
Lionel Messi has recognised that Brazil star Neymar is one of the big reasons he signed for PSG this summer.
“It’s clear that one of the reasons was the dressing room, where I have friend and people I know,” said Messi. “PSG and I were looking for the same thing and I hope we can achieve our objectives.
“Neymar was one of the reasons, also Angel Di Maria, Paredes, that question was important in choosing this place. To have friends and team-mates in the dressing room will make things much easier.”
He also added: “Looking at PSG’s squad I am excited because I see that I can achieve the objectives that I want.”
