Kylian Mbappé is looking increasingly likely to end up at Real Madrid next summer. The French club recently published an interview in which Mbappé said his dream was to win the Champions League with PSG, but according to L'Equipe, the player is annoyed by the timing of the release.
Despite being recorded in May, the interview was only published a few days ago. According to reports, Mbappé's entourage feel that it is an attempt by PSG to put pressure on the player, who is yet to renew his contract. Mbappé will be a free agent in the summer of 2022, and it remains to be seen whether PSG would be willing to negotiate with Real Madrid so late in the transfer market.
Mbappé's agents feel that the interview should have been published in June, not the end of July. According to L'Equipe, Mbappé isn't even aware of the club's sporting project or his role in it. As such, he currently has no intention of signing a new deal.
According to the same report, PSG's sporting director Leonardo has broken off negotiations with the player due to the frosty relationship that exists between the two parties. It will now be Nasser Al-Khelaifi who tries to personally convince Mbappé to extent his stay at the Parc des Princes.
