The former Barcelona striker is on fire in Belgium

Ferran Jutgla has hit the ground running in Belgium. The former Barcelona striker has made a spectacular start to his Club Brugge career and that continues on Friday with a brace against Charleroi in just four minutes.

Brugges moved top of the league with a 3-1 win over Charleroi. They had to come from behind after Morioka's early goal and they did so through Jutgla, who scored in the 32nd and 36th minute. Casper Nielsen added the third.

With the two goals, Jutgla is now the top scorer in the Belgian league with five goals. He also has two assists.

In a short space of time, he has become one of the team's offensive references and a key piece in Carl Hoefkens' scheme. The Catalan left Barça to prove his worth and he is achieving that based on good play and numbers, which is what is asked of a striker, and today, his ascendancy in the squad is unquestionable.

Several weeks ago he already lifted his first title at the club, the Belgian Super Cup and we cannot forget that this year he will play in the Champions League and will face Atlético de Madrid, Leverkusen and Porto in the group stage.
