The Catalan national team put on a show in Girona on Wednesday night

Gerard Deulofeu scored a hat-trick as Catalonia hammered Jamaica 6-0 in a friendly in Girons on Wednesday evening.

All three of Udinese winger Deulofeu's goals came in the first half, with captain Marc Bartra also on target as the home side went into the break with a four-goal lead.

Coach Gerard Lopez made nine changes at the break and two more 10 minutes later but Catalonia remained the dominant force in the game.

Barcelona striker Ferran Jutgla added the fifth goal in the 73rd minute and Espanyol's Javi Puado completed the scoring late on from the penalty spot.

Catalonia were missing the majority of their Barça players, with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba among those in Australia this week for a friendly, although they were allowed to have Oscar Mingueza and Riqui Puig.

Catalonia side: Badia (Cardenas); Mingueza (Ruben Sanchez), Sergi Gomez (Edgar Gonzalez), Bartra (Salva Ferrer), Alex Moreno (Olivan); Romeu (Ruben Alcaraz), Alena (Gumbau), Puig (Collado); Tello (Puado), Deulofeu (Jutgla), Cucurella (Milla)
