Official: Barcelona striker Jenni Hermoso completes move to Pachuca
The Spain international will move to Mexico when her Barça contract expires
Jenni's deal is up June 30 and she also had offers from Atletico and Real Madrid
Barcelona forward Jenni Hermoso has joined Pachuca on a two-year contract, the Mexican club confirmed on Wednesday.
Hermoso's deal with Barça expires on June 30 and it's been known for a while that the club's top goal scorer would leave this summer.
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were both interested, while rumours of a move to Meixico surfaced this week, with America linked as an option.
However, in the end, she has signed for Pachuca, who hope she will help increase the Mexican league's profile.
"During my time at Barcelona I have learned, cried, fallen many times and got back up again," Jenni said. "I have experienced wonderful moments, being able to win everything with this shirt is something I will always take with me.
"Sometimes things come to an end. I am proud to have given everything I could for this shirt. I still have a lot to give, to enjoy and now is time for a new adventure where I feel really valued."
