Former Barça Femeni coach Lluis Cortes sends a message from Ukraine
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight and Cortes is there coaching the women's national team
Former FC Barcelona Femeni coach Luis Cortes has shared a message on social media to calm his followers down. He is currently the coach of the Ukraine women’s national team, and Russia is attacking the country.
He says he is with fitness coach Jordi Escura, and both are doing well.
“Good morning from Kiev,” he tweeted. “We are with Jordi Escura and we are well. For now in the hotel, calm, in contact with the embassy and evaluating the best option for the coming hours. It’s time to have a cool head and filter a lot of the info that comes to us. Thanks.”
