Champions Barça kicked off the season with a stylish win in the capital
The women's top-flight returned this weekend and we were treated to the first-ever women's Clasico on Sunday as Barcelona travelled to Real Madrid.

It ended in a rout for Barça, the reigning champions, with goals from Patri, Martens, Alexia and a Babbet own goal sealing a 4-0 win for the Catalan side.
Madrid took over newly-promoted Tacon last season but didn't change their name straight away. Tacon were roundly beaten twice by Barça in the 2019-20 campaign.
However, Sunday's game was the first official meeting the now renamed Real Madrid side and Barça, although the meetings between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also widely regarded as the Clasico of the women's game in Spain.
