Official: Lucy Bronze signs for Barça Femeni
The Man City and England right back will join the club for next season
Lucia Roberto Tough Bronze, known as Lucy Bronze, has signed for Barça Femeni for next season. The English player left Man City on May 26, where she has spent the last few seasons, reaching the end of her deal there.
She signs on a two year contract with Barcelona and will compete with Marta Torreón to be right-back.
In 2019 the England international won UEFA’s best player award, then in 2020 FIFA’s The Best trophy. This year she was in the FIFA best XI. She has quality and experience which will help Giraldez’s team.
