Caroline Graham Hansen has agreed a new contract with FC Barcelone to tie her to the club until 2023, the Blaugrana announced on Friday.

Norway star Graham Hansen joined the club from Wolfsburg in 2019 as part of Barça's plans to strengthen their women's team.

She will sign her new deal "when the calendar allows," the Catalan club explained in a statement released on Friday morning.

In two seasons at Barça, she Graham Hansen has become a key part of Lluis Cortes' side, playing 39 games and scoring 16 goals.

However, aside from the goals shes scores, most of Barça's goals come from her boots in one way or another.

She has provided more assists than any other player in the Primera Division this season and that was also true last season.

Barça said: "FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Caroline Graham Hansen for the renewal of her contract, until June 30, 2023. When the team's sporting calendar allows, the official event for the signing of the new contract will take place.

"Graham, 25, arrived at Barça in the summer of 2019 from Wolfsburg, and in the two seasons since has proved to be one of the most decisive wingers in the game.

"Chosen as the best footballer in Norway in 2020, the striker has played 39 official matches for Barça in which she has scored 16 goals. She has also won a league title, a Spanish Super Cup and a Catalan Cup whilst at the club."
