Barça are cruising towards the title after crushing second placed Levante

Barcelona continued their march towards the league title by hammering second place Levante 7-1 at the Johan Cruyff stadium on Sunday.

Seven different players helped themselves to goals as Barca made it 22 wins from 22 games to move 12 points clear of Levante at the top. They also have three games in hand.

Lluis Cortes' side have scored a staggering 110 goals in those 22 matches, with Levante's late consolation on Sunday just the fourth goal they've conceded in the league this season.

The rout started in the fourth minute when right-back Marta Torrejon opening the scoring. Further goals followed before the break from captain Vicky Losada and Mariona Caldentey,

Left-back Melanie Serrano added the fourth after the break and Bruna Vilamala made it five on the hour.

Late efforts from Aitan Bonmati and Jenni Hermoso gave Barca a seven-goal lead heading into stoppage time, with Alba Redondo scoring in the 94th minute for the visitors.
