The defender made a trip to watch the game as the Barca squad have a day off

Gerard Pique is taking his Andorra adventure seriously. The FC Barcelona defender took advantage of the day off given to the squad after the Valencia draw to head to Tarrega, where he saw his side win 4-2.

It is the second match he has watched live. Two weeks ago he went to Can Vinader in Castellefels to watch Andorra draw 1-1 with Vista Alegre.

He did so with his father Joan, who he has made an executive director at the club.

It is the first win Pique has seen as he could not go to the 1-0 win at Viladecans which his era as owner started with.

Andorra suffered to get the points with Tarrega going ahead twice, but they eventually got the win.

Pique bought the side at the end of 2018, an Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas are some of the investors.
