Ilaix Moriba will play again on Sunday... this time with Barça B

The teenage midfielder will be back with the reserves after making his first team debut midweek

After making his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey against Cornella on Thursday, Ilaix Moriba made it clear that he was still a Barça B player and that his goal was to help them get promoted to the second division.

Therefore, on Saturday, he was back training with Garcia Pimienta's side and on Sunday will be in the XI for the important league game against UE Olot.

Barça B need Ilaix after losing to league leaders Nastic de Tarragona last week and the 18-year-old midfielder accepts the situation naturally.

In fact, he's still technically registered to the U19 team, although in the coming days that's expected to change with the paperwork to promote him to the B team full time being completed.

Ilaix is one of the most important pieces of Pimienta's side and has always played when he's been available. He has missed a few games through injury and, in them, Barça B lost three times, including to Olot, who they face again this weekend.

With his moral in the clouds after his first team debut, Ilaix has kept his feet on the ground and will keep helping the B team until Koeman sees fit.

Koeman likes him

The Dutch coach made it clear that he has faith in Ilaix when he was the only B team player, not including Oscar Mingueza, who's considered part of the first team at the moment, to start the game against Cornella.

Konrad de la Fuente came on for some minutes in extra-time and did well, too, while Arnau Tenas and Alex Collado were unused substitutes.
