The midfielder has been on Barcelona's radar for quite some time

Barcelona are working on bringing the best young talents in world football to La Masia. Alejandro Monserrate, known as Jano, is the latest to be linked. Born in 2006, he’s a playmaker who has shone at Real Zaragoza and despite being at Cadete age he’s playing with the Juveniles. The left footer stands out for his vision of play and precision with the ball at his feet, can make assists and find goal himself.

Barcelona have been keeping an eye on him for some time and have visited Zaragoza to try and sign him, but for now have not got the yes they want.

They know they aren’t the only ones who want Jano, with Real Madrid and Roma also interested in signing him next summer.

In a few days he’ll turn 16, the age he can sign his first professional contract, and everyone knows now is the moment to go for him. Barça know they can’t be caught sleeping if they want him.
