A team of Lionel Messis: Sacachispas pay homage to Argentina hero
The modest Sacachispas had a curious way of thanking Messi
The Barça star led Argentina to the World Cup and has been heralded worldwide
Lionel Messi has received homages and congratulations from all over the world after leading Argentina to the World Cup in Russia next summer.
They have arrived in various different ways, some of them more fun, others more standard. One of them has come from the modest Sacachispas, who play in the Primera B Metropolitana.
The Sacachispas squad decided to pay homage to the man from Rosario, Messi, in an entertaining way as they came out on to the pitch this weekend.
All the players, with the exception of the goalkeeper, appeared on the pitch of play wearing masks of Messi smiliing. It was a team of Messis.
"Our hero in this LIO (Argentine for mess)," was written on Sacachispas's official Twitter acount with the photograph of the team before their match against Comunicaciones, played in Agronomía.

It is not the first time that Sacachispas surprised their supporters when entering the pitch. Many still remember the time they came out with Santa Clause masks on.
