Frenkie de Jong, one of Barcelona's star signings and key players, finished just outside the top 10 in the Ballon d'Or rankings - coming 11th.
De Jong, who last season led Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals, is the second highest Barcelona playter in the rankings - with Leo Messi ahead of him (this year's winner).
The Dutchman finished ahead of his former team-mate at Ajax and compatriot Matthijs de Ligt, now at Juventus. He finished 15th, ahead of Man City's Sergio Aguero and behind Man City's Kevin de Bruyne.
De Jong was beaten out by players like Mane, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez.
