Favre: We knew the Camp Nou was a tough place to go
Borussia Dortmund's coach spoke after their 3-1 defeat by the Catalans
Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Fave lamented his team's 3-1 defeat at Camp Nou but said that his team knew it was "a very difficult stadium" to play at.
"Before the game I had told the players it was a very difficult match. We needed players very focused and concentrating. That's why we took the decision with this line up," explained Favre, of Jadon Sancho's absence.
Sancho came on to score and hit the bar too.
"In the first half Barca were very dangerous, not just because of Messi. In the second half we played better and in the end we had three chances but lost 3-1. We knew the Camp Nou was a hard place to go.
"We're in a really difficult group and know that Barca, Inter and Slavia Prague are not easy. We have to win the next game against Slavia and hope Barca beat Inter."
