Pep Guardola interested in bringing Mario Hermoso to Man City
Atletico Madrid are in advanced negotiations with the defender
Mario Hermoso is on Pep Guardiola's agenda to reinforce Man City's defensive line, per Duncan Castles, a journalist with the Sunday Times and Daily Record. However the Espanyol defender is close to moving to Atletico Madrid.
City are not impressed with the barbaric 90m euros that Leicester have asked for, for Harry Maguire, so Hermoso is the second choice. His contract ends on June 30, 2020 and he has a 40m euro release clause. He brings the ball out well from the back and Guardiola likes that about him.
However City must act quickly because of Atletico's progressed interest in the player.
