The draw takes place at 1pm on Friday and these are the sides left in the cup

Barcelona made it through to the Copa del Rey last 16 with a narrow 2-0 extra-time win over third-tier Cornella on Thursday. Here are the teams they could face in Friday’s draw, at 1pm CET.

From La Liga, there are Athletic Club, Real Betis, Granada, Levante, Osasuna, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Valencia, Real Valladolid and Villarreal. Cornella had knocked out Atletico Madrid, while Real Madrid were humiliatingly put out by third-tier Alcoyano on Wednesday.

From the second division, Almeria, Girona and Rayo Vallecano remain in the cup, with Navalcarnero the other third tier team still in, with Alcoyano. These two are guaranteed a game against a top flight side at their own stadium.

The match will be played in one off ties between Jan 26-28. The matches will be played at the lower division team’s stadium. If both teams are from the same league then whoever is drawn first will be at home.
