Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Spanish Super Cup likely line-ups with Ferran Torres fit

The winger has been registered, recovered from injury and is clear of Covid-19

Ferran Torres has tested negative on Monday and is good to go. The forward, with Pedri, Joan Laporta, Ferran Reverter and Enric Masip, headed to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia for training ahead of the Spanish Super Cup Clasico.

The winger has not played for around three months and it’s unlikely he will last the 90 minutes but he could start the game against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

He trained normally and may begin the game either as false nine or on the right flank.

It is less likely that Pedri or Ansu Fati will start for Barcelona, given that they have been out for a long time with muscular issues.

There is a long way to go this season so Xavi will not take risks. Frenkie de Jong is not at 100 per cent either so Gavi and Nico will likely start alongside Sergio Busquets in the middle.

If Ferran is up front, Dembele is on the right then various players are fighting for the left side attacking spot: Memphis, Abde, Jutgla, for example. Luuk de Jong could also keep his place up front and Dembele play on the left.

Ronald Araujo will start in defence. He had his fingers operated on last Friday but is back already. He is considered vital to stop Benzema and Vinicius.
