The Catalans will line up with Auba at the tip, who has seven goals in seven games

Barcelona take on the Clasico with four wins in a row in La Liga, plus four wins in a row on the road across all competitions. They also have the Aubameyang factor, with seven goals in his last seven games, and he’s been a nightmare for Madrid in the past, five goals in his last four games against them.

Xavi will lean on the forward to end a bad run of five consecutive defeats against Real Madrid, four in La Liga and one in the Spanish Super Cup.

Auba is only behind Memphis as the team’s top scorer, despite only arriving in January.

Xavi will bring Dani Alves back in most likely, and Araujo over Eric Garcia in defence for his extra centimetres when it comes to set pieces in both attack and defence.

In midfield, Gavi could come in to replace De Jong. Or on the left of the attack to also drop back into midfield when the team is defending.

If Gavi does start on the left, the Xavi will likely have to bench Ousmane Dembele and use him as a weapon in the second half.
